“The Regionalisation of Albania – The Governance, Administrative and Territorial Reform that Albania needs on a Regional Level” was prepared by Co-PLAN, Institute for Habitat Development, based on the analytical work conducted in years – at least since 2005. This proposal builds up considerably on the role of Co-PLAN in the frame of the “Regional Development Program in Northern Albania” project, financed by the Donor Agencies of Austria and Switzerland.

Today yet another public space in the city was reinstated its deserved value and importance. The community from Municipal Unit no.5 in the city of Tirana, in cooperation with Co-PLAN, the Municipality of Tirana and POLIS University, have worked together for several months to transform the space they share in their residential area. They have greened the area, added functions to it as well as recreational space based on the needs and agreement of the residents. The result of this participatory planning is admirable.

Komuniteti i një zone tek njësia bashkiake nr.5 së bashku me Co-PLAN, Bashkinë Tiranë dhe Universitetin POLIS, kanë punuar së bashku për disa muaj, për të shndërruar hapësirën mes pallateve të tyre. Solar Capsule – Energy Saving Days

We are pleased to invite you to the Solar Capsule event, a structure built entirely based on high energy efficiency principles, to become part of a the 2 day event dedicated to ‘Energy Saving through better Energy Efficiency’. The activity is currently taking place in the outdoor premises of QTU (Qendra Tregtare Univers) on December 18 (today) and 19 (tomorrow).

Given that the capsule has been constructed based on entirely energy efficient materials and principles, you as visitors will have a chance to learn on practical ways you can improve energy efficiency in your homes. Whereas for all the curious people who would like to construct something similar, a special session will be held by the authors of the solar capsule who will be explaining in detail the design and the technology that was used.
